it's called a cloudscape and it is one of the most popular, and freaking fantastic things ever seen.
the installation at the twelfth international architecture exhibition in venice displayed japanese architect tetsuo kondo "cloudscape."
working with a german climate engineering firm [transsolar,] kondo was able to exhibit his piece in a large interior space.
a mixture of fans created three different layers of air into the space all at different temperatures.
just an awesome concept, and exhibited beautifully!
